Dr. Jafar Mohammad Alfai is a licensed Specialist in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology with more than 24 years of experience in clinical and anatomical pathology across Qatar and Syria. He is currently practicing in Doha, Qatar, where he specializes in diagnostic validation, laboratory operations, and quality-focused clinical diagnostics within regulated healthcare environments.

Throughout his career, Dr. Alfai has held key positions in both public and private healthcare institutions, including leadership roles in hospital diagnostic departments and private laboratory management. His expertise covers anatomical pathology, clinical pathology, haematology, biochemistry, and immunology, with advanced proficiency in high-end diagnostic platforms such as Roche Cobas, Sysmex, and Tosoh systems.

Dr. Alfai earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Aleppo and later completed his specialization in Laboratory Diagnosis through the Syrian Ministry of Health. He is licensed by Qatar’s Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) as a Specialist in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology and is recognized for his strong background in laboratory management, regulatory compliance, and diagnostic excellence.
